Ciak, action! Off to the Sardinia Film Festival: appointments and guests not to be missed.
The projectors are ready, and we are thrilled!
The best cartoons from all over the world are coming to the Sardinia Film Festival.
Sassari Cityplex Moderno Theater will host free screenings and meetings.
The only requirement is to be in possession of a valid COVID-19 Certificate.
What to put on the agenda, then?
The lights of the Festival will turn on on December 3, at 9.00 pm, with the first shortmovies, presented by Nieto.
The director Manfredo Manfredi and Andrea Lorenzon, digital artist creator of Cartoni Morti, will also be guests.
The evening will be closed by the documentary “Lele, the magical world of Emanuele Luzzati”, by Matteo Valenti, presented by Valenti himself with Carla Rezza.
Of course, we will host the representatives of AnimaYo Festival, Cartoon Italia and Sardegna Film Commission. A well-stocked bookshop will also be set up by the Azuni Library.
From Saturday 4th to Wednesday 8th, the screenings will take place all day, from 10.30 to 13.00 (time slot dedicated especially to the little ones), then in the afternoon from 16.00 to 19.30 and again from 21.15 to 24.

Neapolitan director, animator and illustrator, he works in the field of animation.
Among the historical collaborators of MAD Entertainment, he has worked as an author on the feature films The Art of Happiness (2013), Gatta Cenerentola (2017), Yaya and Lennie – The Walking Liberty (2021).
Since 2019 he is the President of ASIFA Italia (Italian Association of Animated Films).
